About Me

My journey as an occupational therapy practitioner started when my children were small; my personal use of homeopathy, herbs, aromatherapy, EFT, mindfulness techniques, and whole, plant-based foods as medicine introduced me to a more holistic way of caring for the human body. Occupational therapy, with its emphasis on whole-person care, seemed a natural fit.

While my feet are planted firmly in these roots, I embrace and actively seek out the latest scientific evidence-based treatment methods to support every individual's plan of care. I received the highly sought after CHT credential in 2020. Continuing education in upper extremity conditions, subscriptions to hand therapy journals, and a love of watching surgical videos feeds my inner hand-nerd! I'm grateful to have been invited into the O.R. by a local hand surgeon to watch several of his surgeries. Prior work experience includes several fast-paced hospital-based outpatient hand therapy clinics for orthopedic and neurological conditions as well as time spent in acute inpatient rehabilitation.
